ABOUT ME

Born and raised in Mackay, Queensland, by my mother, who is Torres Strait Islander and my father, who is New Zealand born and of Māori descent. Currently living in Brisbane with my Wife and four beautiful children. My passion for art, painting and carving started as a young kid, growing up around a creative family and jewellery making, stone, wood and bone carving thanks to my Nana. My Nana still carries her passion for carving and creating beautiful Pounamu necklaces and jewellery back home in Mackay. I am proud of my culture and its connections through art/storytelling and I feel privileged to be able to share my journey with you.

Every piece is created by me and is made with thought, love and care. I honour and respect the shells, bones and stones I carve and try to find a use for every last offcut.

Our pearl shells are purchased from a sustainable farm in Western Australia. All jewellery products used are of top quality and have been purchased from Australian and New Zealand vendors.
